The Barefoot Cherokee model is a versatile treeless saddle, ideal for endurance and trekking. 

The Cherokee gives excellent wither clearance and has a higher cantle than the Cheyenne and London.

The Barefoot Cherokee is made of pliable open pore cow hide, dirt repellent and surface treated, with leather edging and a black soft fleece underside. Seven D-rings and leather straps in front and back of the saddle provide many possibilities to attach saddle bags etc.

The Cherokee comes with a pair of detachable kneerolls, which can be positioned to suit each rider.

The saddles are delivered with a Medium pommel insert as standard.  Other pommel inserts are available to purchase separately.

The Barefoot Cherokee weighs in at only 6 kg (13 lb)!

The Barefoot Cherokee is available in two sizes and in brown/black combination leather.

Also available as Cherokee Classic with a more refined, classical look without the horse head decoration, leather conchas and leather tassels (see last picture).  From 2021, the Cherokee Classic saddles are fitted with the open (e-bar) stirrup leather attachment. Available in Black only.  The Cherokee Classic is suitable for dressage, endurance, pleasure riding and jumping over small obstacles

The Cherokee model comes with the Wide closed stirrup bar attachment (Cherokee Classic with the open e-bar).
