The Barefoot Cherokee model is a versatile saddle, ideal for endurance and trekking.
The Cherokee gives excellent wither clearance and has a higher cantle than the Cheyenne and London..
The Barefoot Cherokee is made of pliable open pore cow hide, dirt repellant and surface treated, with leather edging and a black soft fleece underside. Seven D-rings and leather straps in front and back of the saddle provide many possibilities to attach saddle bags etc.
The Cherokee comes with a pair of detachable kneerolls, which can be positioned to suit each rider.
The Barefoot Cherokee weighs in at only 6 kg (13 lb)!

This saddle uses a closed ring for stirrup leather attachment. We strongly advise the use of additional safety equipment like the Barnes Buckles and/or safety stirrups to reduce the chances of your foot being caught in the stirrups during a fall. |

IDEAL SOLUTION FOR WIDE BARRELS OR HORSES WITH A FORWARD GIRTH GROOVE
Anatomically designed English leather girth of a curved design. This works well for horses with a forward girth groove or long withers to prevent the saddle being pulled forwards. Also extremely effective on ponies with wide barrels in helping the saddle to stay in the correct position.
