Barefoot Cherokee - Treeless GP Saddle

The Barefoot Cherokee saddle is anatomically designed to adapt closely to the shape of the horse's back and therefore gives an ideal fit to most horses. The Cherokee gives excellent wither clearance and has a higher cantle than the Cheyenne and London..

The saddle allows unrestricted movement for the horse allowing them to move much more freely.

The Barefoot Cherokee has a removable lightweight fibreglass insert in the pommel, and the cantle is constructed of thick, flexible foam. The fibreglass pommel insert is interchangeable and is available in three widths. As standard, it comes with the medium pommel insert.

The Barefoot Cherokee is made of thick, pliable nubuck leather with leather edging and a soft fleece underside. Seven D-rings and leather straps in front and back of the saddle provide many possibilities to attach saddle bags etc.

The Cherokee comes with a pair of detachable kneerolls, which can be positioned to suit each rider.

The Barefoot has reinforced leather/nylon girths straps for extra security.

The Barefoot Cherokee weighs in at only 4.5 kg!

Each Barefoot saddle has a thick, moulded, pressure absorbing panel on either side of the horse's spine, creating a gullet for improved spine clearance.

The Barefoot Cherokee is available in two sizes and in black or brown leather.

Size 1 = appx. 16.5"-17" English treed saddle, for riders with a dress size 10-12
Size 2 = appx. 17.5"-18" English treed saddle, for riders with a dress size 14+

Important Safety Note
This saddle uses a closed ring for stirrup leather attachment. We strongly advise the use of additional safety equipment like the Barnes Buckles and/or safety stirrups to reduce the chances of your foot being caught in the stirrups during a fall.
